Empowering clients by helping them find solutions to legal issues

Sadhna is a newly minted lawyer who is passionate about helping her clients navigate a complex and, oftentimes, confusing legal system. Prior to joining Hayher Lee, Sadhna clerked at the Alberta Court of King’s Bench under the supervision of Justice Robert W. Armstrong. She completed her articles at a large regional law firm where she gained invaluable litigation experience.

Sadhna has a breadth of experience in numerous areas of law, ranging from corporate matters to criminal sentencing. Her diverse range of experience and her background with the courts allows her to approach complex family matters with a nuanced approach.

Prior to attending law school at the University of Victoria, Sadhna obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, where she majored in Business, Economics and Law, and minored in Political Science. Sadhna’s goal to use this educational background to help people ultimately led her to family law.

As a young family lawyer, Sadhna hopes to develop a practice that helps clients with issues ranging from divorce, parenting time, property division, and support arrangements. She has a keen interest in relocation applications and matters under the Hague Convention. Sadhna hopes to help families reduce conflict and simplify their legal issues so they can move forward with their lives. Sadhna is a natural problem-solver with the ability to help clients navigate emotionally charged and difficult situations.

Prior to law school, Sadhna spent years participating in debate and case competitions, and even traveled to South Africa for the World University Debating Championship. In law school, she was an editor for the Appeal Law Journal and completed a practicum with the University of Victoria’s Law Centre. During her time at the Law Centre, Sadhna assisted low-income clients with residential tenancy, criminal, family, and small claims matters. She gained invaluable advocacy experience through this. Sadhna also used to be the Chief Partnerships Officer for ASANA Voices, a not-for-profit for the South Asian diaspora in North America.

Sadhna is an avid reader and world-traveler who has been to over 25 countries. She enjoys pilates, spin, playing pickleball with her friends, and running down by the Bow River. When she is not busy, she is likely to be curled up on her couch watching reality television, or planning her next travel adventure.

Sadhna is accepting new clients.
