Lane is an associate with a focused practice in Family Law. He represents clients in a wide range of family matters, including parenting, support, and property division, with a strong emphasis on practical, results-driven solutions.

Before transitioning to Family Law, Lane practiced Civil Litigation, where he developed a solid foundation in legal advocacy through extensive experience in questionings and mediations. That early litigation background continues to inform his strategic approach to family law files, particularly in high-conflict or complex matters.

He has trial experience and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, including the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, and the Alberta Court of Appeal. In addition to courtroom advocacy, he has substantial experience in alternative dispute resolution. He regularly resolves matters through mediation and has handled numerous arbitrations, providing clients with skilled representation across collaborative and adjudicative processes.

A former college baseball player, Lane brings the same focus and discipline from the field to his legal practice. He holds a Bachelor of Management with Great Distinction from the University of Lethbridge.
